Anyone from WA built a motor that passed emissions

I'm looking into losing my Ls1 for a 6.0 or 7.0 motor. I've read that a tune reset before emission tests (every 2 years), but that was just a random net post. I'd like to see what people are doing with 650hp & true duals that pass emissions in King/Snohomish county.
