trans-go shift kit. stall converter. those will help a ton. headers and a y-pipe. I like the pacesetter headers and y-pipe. SLP sub-frame connectors. the bolt on ones. panhard rod. rear end cover with mobil 1 or royal purple gear lube. ..if you feel like really getting into the engine performance you can get some stiffer pushrods and springs, that will set you up for a bigger cam. hope some of that helped

3.73 gear will knock a very decent amount off of your 1/4 mile times.
    I'd get the gear.

(The shift kit is a very good idea also.)

those are most likely the best mods for the amount of $$ it costs.

he was prolly talking about a superchip. you can reprogram all the settings the factory set and cost anywere from $300 to $400. i would go with the FAST LSX intake manifold with the 92mm inlet it adds about 20+hp for about $800.

I agree.. not sure what budget you have... but for Autos
3000-3600 Stall (you're choice what you want, but get a tranny cooler too!)
    Shiftkit
Headers & exhaust (either true duals or y-pipe)
    3.73 gears
And then get a tune (Bring your car to a speed shop.. they run your car on the machine.. tweak it for the mods you've done.. and keep running it until its the best its gonna get)

I have Pacesetter LTs, True dual exhaust with cats, 3600 stall and tranny cooler, shiftkit, LG lid, 373s and a tune.. and went from 13.4 to 12.1 in the 1/4.

I got pacesetter LT's and TX speed catted Y with my LM1.... I think it sounds great, but it is extremely loud and can get raspy at times...

Its an easy fix if you end up not liking it. Just change the resonator to a LMII, Borla, or Dynomax... and install cutouts for when you want to piss peole off

If you dont have alot of money now spend it on something that is going to help you put the power down when you do headers and the trans shift kit and stall. I would put my money in Subframe connectors and Lower Control Arms and Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets, and a new Torque Arm.

If stickers give you 2x the power, how much do you get from Emblems?
