Antenna not going all the way up or down

Has anyone had the problem of the antenna not going all the way up or down? Do I need to replace just the antenna mast or do i need the whole motor?

You can replace just the mast. First I would try some lube to see if it helps.

The mast probably just got bent.

I did have one do that and it just fixed itself after about 6 months..

I also replaced the mast on my Formula and it would never quite make it all the way down. I have lubed it with all kinds of different lubricants and it works great for a little bit then it gets washed off. So I gave up.
