    Alternator Replacement Question

Do I have to remove the PS pump before removing the alternator, or can I take it off with the pump still on there?

There does not appear to be much room. Can you guys give me a few tips?

    Thanks

Should be plenty of room from underneath.

I just got it off thanks. I asked this question before I looked underneath. It was a bit of a pain getting that back bolt loose and muscling it out around the sway bar and PS lines, but I finally got it out. Only took about 15 minutes...

Well I called all around and the only one I could find was the Autolite one from Kragen. It is new (not remanufactured) and comes with a lifetime warranty...

I called the dealer and they wanted $299 for an OEM one!!!...

Has anyone else used the Autolite alternator? I looks pretty beefy...

You cant beat a lifetime warranty, and the fact its a new and not remanufatured unit you should be good to go...
