    Alternator, power steering pump, LT's

Ok guys so I'm midway through my LT header install and I noticed that my power steering is leakin directly onto the alternator. It looks to be coming straight from bearing/output shaft and from what I've researched it's best to just buy a new pump. Well the real question is which pumps and alt's are you guys running?? because I would love to do factory BUT even at my body shop cost it will still be almost $700 for the two!! Also has anyone had issues with stock exhaust manifold bolts in there LT's? If so what is the best bang for your buck option money is tight due to newborn..thanks for the help ahead of time!

I would check the o ring that sits between the reserve and the pump. It and the high pressure hose o ring are the #1 reason for leaks.

I have a sticky in the tech help threads that show you how.

I also got tired of the ps pump killing my alternators so I relocated mine to the passenger head like the turbo guys do.

I'm definitely Guna look into the relocation like you said. Those are straight from the dealer ACdelco parts. I work for a body shop and get the parts at a discount. List price was 465 for alt and 375 for PS pump
