Air pump code?? PE0140
I just got my car scanned cuz i got the service engine light and the guy told me it was PE0140 for the air pump, which i had removed a while ago. my problem is that i have to pass emissions soon and in CT there is no visual inspection.. i just can't have any codes. I just had my car tuned and told my tuner to delete any codes i had, so apparently it didn't show up or he didn't see it. unfortunately he is an hour away, so i'm not sure what to do. should i just hook up the air pump for when i go to emissions and hopefully it deletes the code? i'm a little leary about removing the block off plates i put on the headers. any suggestions? thanks

P0140 is insufficient activity bank 1, sensor 2 HO2S - or did you mean P0410? Pulling the AIR PUMP fuse on mine (disabling the pump) throws P0412. There are other secondary air codes too, maybe he missed it.
