air filter
I get frustrated learning to navagate a computer. i'm from the stoned age and its hard for me. could someone tell me the highest flowing paper air filter? i have a blackwing that i clean with k&n and oil. i have a new motor and i read the oil screws with the maf? could someone direct me to sarge's link on air filters thanks ahead of time .

I didn't find sarge's, but I do remember these. Yes, some to most people find the oil a problem and go with any basic paper filter.

thanks, i just read all of the thread amsoil will go in my new engine . thanks for the direction kmdef9 i am one person that really appriciates you more seasoned members help. seasoned by no means is an age issue its an experience issue. you guys been around these motors more than i have. and i thankyou for that

Just because..
Here is the pics from the light test I conducted on the K&N drop in..
Incase anyone has doubt..
See for yourself..
This pic is just a naked incondesent bulb..
You can clearly see the flouresent lamp on the other side..
Everywhere you see the lamp is where dirt and so forth is getting to your engine and its life blood,,, the oil..Last edited by Smittro; 04-22-2011 at 09:38 AM.

Yeah oiled cotton gauze filters are way old technology. Go with an amsoi ea filter or a aem dryflow. Both utilize a synthetic media

i just use a fram air filter.
