Air conditioning not working
Had car checked out today and it does not blow cold air? Is this a simple fix or a major problem. Let me know what you think. Appreciate it.

it could just need coolant recharge. lots of little kits. check the connections on the ac system. if it is oily and dirty then that is most likely your leak. but there may be more than one leak. change the fittings to fix the leak. the leak can also be at a difficult place to spot. a lot of people need a/c here in vegas but i dont mind not having it. thats what the t-tops are for. but if you dont see any apparant leaks try and recharge the system and if it runs out soon then you still have a leak. common with these good sized engines and the movement of a car with torque can dislodge the system after a good while.

another common problem is the A/C compressor, if you put refrigerant in it and it still doesn't blow cold, check the A/C lines for wet spots.
That what was wrong with mine, my compressor was soaking wet after I tested it

I thought the problem was in the compressor, as this also happened to my car also and i took my car to the car AC repair shop. They then checked out and said that the compressor is not working properly. So whenever you come in such problem you must check the compressor first.

^^ Can actually be a number of issues, however, the most common problem is a low refrigerant charge. This is especially true as the "youngest" of our cars is now 13 years old. Can never stress enough the importance of full and complete diagnostic work on any underhood issue before you start throwing parts at it.
