    Air Bag Light

The airbag light stays on continous, is there anyway to keep this light from staying on without taking it to a dealership and spending money?

Answerd your question didn't it. Air bags at least to me are not something I'm gonna mess with, I'll leave that to the dealers.

Flock the dealership take it to an indepented shop and simply state that you what the light diagnoised, but first ask how a service hour they charged. Could be a number of things.

This might be a stupid ass question but here goes, I am getting ready to install the silver inlays so I have to take it apart anyway, but could you just take out the bulb for the airbag light, or cover it up with electrical tape? The code doesnt read on OBD and Im not that concerned about an airbag light.

Hmmmm,,,,I don't know for sure. Since I haven't had my dash apart. I have had my air bags disconnected for years and have just put up with the light being on. It hasn't bothered me enough to warrant tearing the dash apart. I have been waiting for a better reason,,,lol.

I finally tore apart the dash and installed my inlays. I covered the bulb of the air bag with electrical tape, no problems. Problem solved no more annoying air bag light on constantly.

I'm gunna have to agree with Orcus79, I wouldn't let that light just stay on, it was put there for a reason, a safety reason that was implemented to save lives, i'm sure you could get it diagnosed for free before spending any money getting it fixed.

safety is one thing i wouldnt be cheap about or cut corners on

    just my .o2
