Air bag light

K so this isn't on my car but my girlfriends 04 tiberon the air bag light is stuck on.
Anyone have an idea how to turn them off or if or what is the problem?
I think its just a set thing that comes on to get you into the dealership.
It kicked on around 53000 miles and its at alomost 59k
any help would be great thanks

It's just saying that there is a problem with the air bag system some where. Probly nothing big, but that can change if the air bag suddenly goes for no reason.

You can let go of your conspiracy idea that its a trick to get you to make a dealer visit.

So should i take it into the dealer or can any normal mechanics shop take care of an issue like that?

could be a module or impact/occupancy sensor to a wire repair or seat belt buckle. definitely get it checked out - you don't want the air bag system not working if there was to be an accident.

Women like to shove all kinds of things under the seats lol check to be sure you don't have any plugs unplugged or loose wires under/around both seats first

Yea haha i checked a while ago papers soda cans make up etc. messy creatures aren't they? haha
