after market temp gauge
I was thinking of installing an aftermarket temp gauge. Can anyone tell me where the best place to install the new sending unit?..2001 camaro ss..Thanks!

There's a port on the passenger side head near #8. Wiring through the grommet under the PCM, under the dash, to the A pillar gauge or wherever you install it extra.

8mm hex cut down.jpg Get a 3/8 drive 8mm hex socket and cut it down. It is in the exact same place as the stock sender (drivers side) if it was rotated around to the other side (passenger side) this makes it hard to get to but you'll get the idea by looking at the stockers placement. I removed some stuff to pull the "plug" easier. It is a hex, I had an easy time after I grinded it down to about 5/16th or so....
