    Advice on cats..looking to get some old ones to hollow out and save mine..

    I was going to take off my cats, the shop I go to wants to just hollow them out instead. BUT i wanna save mycurrent pair incase i need them for warranty purposes or emissions etc...so i posted an ad on craigslist..a few people responded and their cats are used but still good, wont give me prices just said make offer...how much should i offer?? really id like to pick up some that went bad so i can get them cheaper..since im just gonna gut them...

    anyone have a pair or any advice or how much i should offer for the good ones, i believe one set is off of a 98 z28, the other off of an 01 or 02 SS

    Theres a guy buying cats up for about $130 but if these guys don't know about that low ball them $30 or something then sell them to the guy buying them on this forum and make you a few bucks.
