    AC won't blow cold... HELP

I have a 2001 TA and am having problems with my AC ( i live in FL and this SUCKS). The air blows, the compressor engages and the clutch engages, theres plenty of freon (and no leaks). What could be the problem? I have heard something about a pressure switch that could be bad?

Check the AC belt.....it could be worn & not turning the compressor under load

How long does the car run? Do you let the temp gauge rise before you turn on the AC? I take it you had the system checked already(dye check)?

We put dye in and couldnt see a leak anywhere. also put in leak stop just in case and added 134a. If the car is warm or cold it still blows the same.

Not sure about blockage, but about a week ago, the compressor started making some BAD noises. I thought the clutch was locking up because it only made these noises when the AC was on. Now the noises are gone as well as the cold AC but the clutch is still engaging

Sounds like something in the compressor went south.

All fixed! it was the compressor. not to mention the orifice tube was sooooo clogged from the pump going bad. changed out the pump, o-tube and accumulator. brought it down to the shop and had it evec./topped off with 134a. all is well!!!

    Good to hear

Would have helped us if you had mentioned the compressor noise in your first post though!
