    AC clutch bearing

    Hey,
Wonder if anybody can post AC clutch removal prosedure, I couldn't find one.
AC clutch bearing became noisy, looking into replacing. Also does anybody know what GM vehicles got the same AC compressor clutch/pulley, it;s hard to find one from camaro/trans am in here.
    thanks

OK, noise gone, it appeared to be clutch end plate rubbing against clutch pulley. There was too small gap between them, so when disengaged, stationary end plate rub against rotating pulley. AC clutch comes apart really easy - you don't need to replace compressor if anything happens with your clutch as lots of ppl say. I managed to pull it apart with compressor still bolted on - just some wiggling around AC hose that is in front of the compressor. You need those AC clutch puller and installer which I borrowed for free in local parts store and I used 2jaw puller to remove pulley with bearing. Just FIY
