    ABS troubles

Could GM ever make a decent ABS system? Had a Saturn that was out too...

My ABS Inop light is illuminated and also the Brake and another light blink while I'm driving...

Will I damage anything by driving it like this? Also, will my mechanic be able to easily remove the system, or would it be best to repair it?

GM makes a perfectly good ABS, I have owned all GM cars and have yet to run into a problem or have the ABS light on. If you are going to delete the system a proportionary valve needs to be put in the abs master cylinders place to control the pressure or your brakes just won't work well at all.

The most common problem people have with any ABS system is corrosion of the pump internals. You should flush your brake system every two years to keep it happy. If your fluid is not a light golden color then you are due. Everything else is a need to replace basis.
