'99 Heater core replacement
Okay,
I've got some time off and I'm gonna replace the driver's window motor and the heater core (small leak).
I've got the GM manuals, but has anyone here done the heater core? I've heard it's pretty straightforward and can be done by removing the glove box.
Any special tools needed?
Local shop guy said $400 without blinking. My ass ... $40 part, $360 labor! Hell, I've got time. 1999 Z28 M6.
Any help is appreciated.

Window motors are pretty easy, just drill out the old rivets and replace wit some new hardware, Same with the heater core, two hoses in the bay and comes out through the passenger side. Just make sure you put down some towels or whatever too collect any coolant that might leak on the int...
