99 f-body coolant level sensor removal; HOW TO?
Normally these sensors are round and you put a socket over them to remove, mine is square like a small circuit board box, how do you remove it?

Todd

It's not in my helms since they took them off our cars in 2000 - probably similar to the LT1 sensor though - http://shbox.com/1/low_coolant2.jpg

Black- 99 camaro
The easy way to fix the low coolent sensor is just unplug the it and the light will never come on again.

In the pic on http://shbox.com/1/low_coolant2.jpg, its really hard to tell the clip is one piece and it comes off in the direction of the battery, but it is and it does...I was able to just jam a rag inside of the hole and very little fluid was lost, then I just took the sensor and cleaned it good, stuck it back in and no more light. Once you take the battery out it is a breeze, maybe 15 mins tops, thanks guys!
YMMV.
