Possibly a bad ground where the reverse switch goes?

Kind of what I was thinking, too.

You did say all of your fuses were good, right? I read another thread where a member had a backup light switch (don't know the technical name for it) go bad, causing his reverse lights to not work.

All the fuses are good the bulbs look good. I installed a switch on the inside of the car today on the gear shift its self not outside on the transmission. Im done with it all i do is get B****ed out by my wife for trying to work on it so she can pay thru the nose for a mechanic at the chevy house.

Glad to see you got everything worked out. I have seen bulbs like you described. I remove them and pluck them to see if the filament vibrates. If the filament vibrates, then the bulb is bad.

Thanks for the compliment! I broke my trend of buying black cars when I bought this car back in January.
