Angry 98 TA power steering pump removal

It looks as though my power steering resivor is pouring fluid onto my alternator when I turn the wheels to the extreme left or right. It appears the leak is between the resivor and the pump but I can't for the life of me see how to remove the pump. I think i have to remove the pulley to remove the pump. I rented a pulley puller from autozone but there isn't enough clearance to really use it (or I'm not doing something right) do I have to remove any thing else in the front or am I just not using the puller correctly?

I know it can't be that complicated but I'm having a brain fart...

I took another look in the engine bay and I'm guessing I'll need to remove part of the radiator hose to have enough clearance to get a socket in there to turn the puller. There's like a metal section of the pipe in between two hoses that are clamped on to each end of it. So if I remove that I think I should be good to go ... I hope
