is 98 ABS diffrent from the other years?
Hi guys. I don't have any issues but I upgrade my handheld scanner for an Actron CP9580. I got a good deal on it and i didnt bought for the ABS reader. It was more of an upgrade. I noticed that it has the ability to read ABS codes in certain vehicles. According to their site it says that it only works with Fbodies 99+. Is there any big differences? Im wondering if it will work? Thanks.

was 4 channel abs available in 98? I'm thinking it was but I'm not sure. I know I only have 3 channel abs but I don't have traction control. I believe TC was an option on the 98 ws6's and SS's.

I ran the ABS pump/computer on a salvage yard parts finder and it appears 98 is on its own and 99-2002 interchange. Thats usually pretty accurate, but not always.
