80MPH vibration anyone find a fix

It's my second TA a 99 and a 2000 and it seems like both of them had the same vibration at 80mph or so lets say 75 to 95mph Is there a fixe for the vibration or do we just live with it I have the sfc , lca, relocation brackets ,phb Yank SS3200 and Motive gears done and I really would like that shake to go away It's not terrible but just enough to be anoying

    Thanks

No vibration here. With a vibration occuring only at a certain speed, it'll be a bit harder to pinpoint. I would double check all suspension parts and drivetrain parts for tightness. Do you have solid or poly mounts by any chance? I have heard that they will transfer quite a bit more vibration. Also, a tunnel mount torque arm can too.

are the LCA relo brackets welded in??? i'd check the bump stops behind the rear wheels to make sure they aren't dry rotted... i'd also check ALL the bushings in the entire rear... with the LCA relo brackets it's possible the drive shaft isn't a nice straight line going in to the rear... the rear could be facing the ground slightly and causing the vibration...

The bumb stops are no longer there the 295/35/18 were rubbing on them You mean the ones on the upper part of the sub frame That's gone I need to buy the custom ones that would fit on there for wider tires. No poly mounts stock mounts and the relocation brackets are UMI bolt on....I just ordered a relocation torque arm bracket shit if it increases vibration I will cancel it!!!

The relocation bracket for a stock long arm torque arm is ok. It will relocate the torque arm to the crossmember. A tunnel mount torque arm will transfer more noise and vibration. Mine isn't noticeable to me though. Could be brand related.

Only time I ever experinced what your talking about happened after I bought a user 10 bolt rearend. When it was being rebuilt to install a new set of gears we found that one of the axle bearing had gone bad. Had to replace axle because of wear also. How long ago was your reareend built and did they just change the gears or do a full rebuild?

could also be from the bushings in the front, sway bar, rotors warped - At low speeds you would not notice as much until you get to higher speeds or hard breaking.

Do you feel the vibration coming from the wheel or pardon the puns, your butt? From the wheel it is usually from the front and is something involving the steering. Feel it with your butt, then it is more likely with the rear.

Do you think a relocation bracket is needed at 320rwhp or not really My driveshaft bent and shook the tranny to pieces quickly I was told that maybe the torque broke it but I'm not sure about that!!!

Have you ever had the balance checked on the driveshaft?

There are some members who have snapped the transmission tailshaft on stock HP.

I know at one my old jobs, we used to send the driveshafts to a 4x4/off road shop to have the u-joints replaced and have the driveshafts balanced.

It could be that your Rotors are warped. That's what happened to me.
