6.0 liter ram air car from the factory

I was told by a friend that his 2001 trans am has a 6.0 liter in it... I have never heard this before and want to know if its true?????????

Yup hes full of it man. I have the 02 collectors edition and mines just as normal as anyother 5.7L LS1 so better tell him hes full of shit...

And while your at it tell him you droped a 2 litre of pepsi in your engine and now you pushin 7.7L and you have him beat in the litre category and bullshit category!!

i know a guy that swears his ss camaro (02) was one of only 2 that came with center out exhaust. the other guy just happens to live here in town too...

No need to be jealous, the Center mount exhaust was an option on 01' and 02' SS'. Many were made and you can even buy one from SLP.

I've heard that a couple LS6 blocks made it into our LS1 cars near the end of the production run - but NEVER a 6.0

The only above 6.0 litre engine im aware of is a high performance package from Mecham. Either a 6.3 or 6.5
