What would it take to achieve such a goal? The "right" way , no Spray please. Assuming stock tranny/rear/cluch all need to be upgraded.

    just out of curiosity

DON'T put a supercharger on it. Put a turbocharger on it. I know that its harder to install a turbo but it will most deffinately be worth it. Superchargers also make a whining noise. It doesn't go away!

Forced indiction is cool, but I think LS motors are best N/A. The motor was designed to be N/A all along, and you can do just about anything with the right head/cam package, or if stroke it.

I'd only go F/I if you are starting with a cast iron block, like the 6.0L truck engine or the LSX.

What it wrong with the aluminum block??

Didn't know that...but it always seems that people who are boosted (S/C for example) always end up posting threads about how the motor let go after X PSI of boost.

    Stock bottom end...that is correct.
Forged bottom end...I know at least two guys making 700+ RWHP with a blower. Street cars.

Start off with the bolt ons, get a 9 inch rear or 12 bolt rear end, get a good set of heads and came, maybe even an LS6 intake, the gears, tuning, sub frame connectors, a nice set of tires, and you should be somewhere in the 400s from there. Also get 1.7 roller arms, if your going to stay N/A I would get dome shaped pistons, (I think, someone clarify that please) and hell even a new crankshaft. (not necessarily in that order, and of course do all the little changes you might have to do such as fuel pump ect. ect.) also springs and shocks are going to be needed

I have a question while we are on the subject.. if you wanted to Turbo charge your Ws6, and your Ws6 is a stock 6SM trans, what exactly would you have to upgrade, and what exactly would each piece cost?

Turbo kits are roughly $7K. Sometimes more.
You would want a rearend for sure. Tires to hook up on the street.

If you aren't racing the hell out of it, the tranny will last for a while.
