    4th Gen Headlight /Hood placement

hey guys, needing some help with my firebird.. I got the 98-02 headlights to stop clipping on my ram hood but it looks too uneven in some parts.. wondering if theres an easy way to adjust the headlights besides moving the back-top bracket "2 bolts"...

Does the car got hit in the front in the past? you hood need to go to your drivers side more. Have you tried lossen the main bolts that hold the headlight and shifting it a bit?

Unless there is a imperfection with the hood

ya the person i bought it from said they hit a deer in the front, but i replaced all the parts with the conversion and yes i tried moving the headlighs but its not enough space going with the top 2 bolts on the top back bracket

Since it's been hit I'm guess by the looks it's an aftermarket ws6 hood.
Lets start with your 1st problem is your hood alignment is way outta place. Loosen the hood bolts an align it with the fenders so it's looks right.
Now to #2 loosen the headlight covers so they look lined up with thehood bumpers and fender. The clipping headlight cover is a simple fix take the black rubber bump stops that adjust the hood height in the front, back them off so the hood rides high enough for the covers to clear. If your hood is even a 1/16 of and inch off the covers will rub lightly if it's too low it will get stuck if it's bad enough, I saw one guy bend the factory steel hood because of a dryrotted rubber bumper. If their dry rotted go hit a GM dealer for new ones, I have an aftermarket WS6 hood from certifit and had to readjust the stops to clear the light covers since the metal hood fits much better. I got new rubber stops at a GM dealer for a couple bucks.
