    440 LSX build

It's been a while since I've posted on here, but as some of you know I smoke the 408 at the track last July. Got a great deal on a 440 LSX shortblock from LME so I'm throwing a high compression nitrous motor together.

LME LSX short block, Wiseco custom forged nitrous pistons, Callies Dragonslayer crank, Callies I beam rods
    14-14.5:1 CR,
Mast 305cc heads, titanium intake valves, Inconel exhuast valves, Pac 950 lift springs
    Bullet Racing cam 285/298 850/850 112 LSA
    Carys intake,
    Aviad dry sump,etc.
    Kooks 2" into 3.5" collectors

Everything else I'm re using off of my old setup. The penny was inserted since a couple of my friends called BS that I actually dropped the hammer on the parts.

You can fit a family of four in those ports. How many CFM are they pushing ? Are you doing a blower or turbo ?

How do you smoke a 408?

Holy cow 14 CR? What octane are you using? Race fuel only?

A little over 400 CFM. The motor is NA but is capable of a 200 shot. I already have a Wilson Pro flow plate system. As far as the 408 goes, I sent a rod through the oil pan and side of the block. What happens when you rev to 8k without a dry sump.
