    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

    4 jack-stand points?

ok, i'm going to replace my shocks and brakes. I'd like the car completely in the air, where is it ok to put 4 jack stands?

Talking about the rear shocks right? 2 stands on the sides of the kmember where the control amrs meet.. and the other 2 stands on the rails just in front of where the LCAs bolt to the car..

I use the same points on mine except normally I'll put the rear 2 under the axle unless I need the suspension unloaded then I'll use the subframes where he was talking about. I've also put all 4 under the subframes too.

Well.. to replace the shocks.. don't you have to have the rear unloaded? If not, then yeah, I put them under the axles.

I've put mine in those spots several times. I've never had any issues up there. I usually use the front control arms just because that frees up more space under the car so you're not crawling in and out of jackstands all day. If you're doing shocks and struts on all 4 corners though you almost have to put yours on the subframes. You'll be fine.
