could try just unpluging it, your fans will run at full speed, and may have reduced power.

you think?if it was that easy i'd be happy..lol.i'm thinking putting a 2 pin sensor, like off a 99,with the plug in ofcourse, lol, just leave the 1 wire unhooked?maybe hook up my fans direct?its only temporarily.i just put a rebuilt LQ9 motor in it and dont want to ruin that

are you talking about the coolant temp sensor in the head? All the parts stores around here carry them. You'll need it or your closed loop fueling will be screwed up. No way to bypass it that I know of.

you will now pretty quick, I just did plugs on my 02, and forgot to to plug the sensor back in. When I shut the car off, after doing a test fire, my fans were at full speed
If your fans run you will fine

unplugging it will probably set a code and put the car into some sort of limp mode but it should be sort of drivable. The problem is that the coolant temp sensor affects so many things.

Your lucky if it cranks at all with that sensor bad. Your AFR is gonna be way off. I got mine at the dealship for about $20.00 if I remember right.
