2000 T/A Ignition Relay...

My 2000 T/A keeps frying Ignition Relays. It's happened twice in 2 months. Engine will just turn over and over, plenty of fuel pressure and spark, but won't start.

Can anyone tell me what would cause this problem?

How can I fix this? I can carry spare relays, but that's not a fix.

Are the contacts going bad or the coil that drives it? If it's the contacts, something like a fuel pump may be on the way out and drawing more than it's share of the relay's contact's rated current. Scan for codes, even active/old codes that don't set the SES.
