1998 - Manual Window Handle Removal?

1998 Camaro Z28- Manual Window Handle Removal?

I'm trying to take the door panel off so I can fix the outside handle (little rod fell off the connector). I got all the screws out I think but can't see how to remove the window handle? Does it just pry striaght off? Is there some trick? Thanks for any help...

P.S. Most of the door panel tutorials show electric windows so they don't help me at all.

Should just slide off.

there is a clip behind the handel that holds it to the shaft. To get it off you can use a small flah head screwdriver or small pick, being careful not to tear the upolstry. Or you can use a removal too that can be picked up for cheap at any parts store.
