05 GTO safe mode and rough idle

I just bought this 05 m6 gto ive only had it for four days so far but, It keeps throwing the p0803 cel code and now for the second time safe mode with 100% no throttle response. but this time if i go to restart it it will make fairly loud clicking sounds with key on ignition off then go to start it and idles horribly like its miss firing. mods from what i can tell so far is kooks full exhaust system volant cai and has been dyno tuned supposedly. Any ideas LS fam?

Get underneath your car and check for any loose wiring. You could have a burned wire near your headers. I looked up the code and it comes up as a skip shift solenoid issue. Maybe the wire to the transmission skip shift solenoid is loose or burned from the headers? Solenoid could be bad? Inspect O2 sensor wiring and clean mass air sensor. Hopefully your throttlebody didn't ish the bed. Another thing to check would be the battery cable ends as they corrode and become loose over time. Keep us posted.
