    01 CamaroSS SLP won't start

My 01 CamaroSS SLP (39k) won't start, no spark. If I plug my OBDII tool in (no codes) and hit erase sometimes it will start and drive perfectly. I think that rules out crank and cam sensors. Its not a drivability but a starting problem. I believe even though there are no codes present, by hitting erase it does a power on reset (POR) to the PCM which would lead me to believe it might be the PCM. Tough to troubleshoot this new stuff

So it cranks but no start? Is your security light on?

cranks fine and no security light, just drove it tonight only after plugging OBDII in and hitting erase. I own 2 LS1's. Could I take the PCM out of the car that starts 99Z28, and plug it into the 01SS for troubleshooting purposes?

I have not personaly swapper computers although it should work, Might have some hiccups due to different equipment, Ie Egr.
Whats your fuel pressure at when it wont start? How do you know you dont have spark? Any mods? Since you said sometimes you hit the Clear button and it will start it doesnt sound like Your issue lies within the Pcm but elsewhere.

Car is bone stock. I pulled a plug wire off & went to ground, no spark. Fuel wise I have pushed in the shrader valve on the fuel rail, got fuel plus it runs great once started. Would be nice to know for sure if the PCM's could be swapped. I'll get a fuel pressure guage to test startup pressure.
