That's a good size cam. If you're an M6, then 400 should be easy. A4 may be slightly under.

I had a baseline done with an SLP lid and SLP exhaust on a 2002 CETA that I bought about six weeks ago. It has 13,000 miles and is in great shape. I am changing the MAF to a new GM replacement with the IAT built into the MAF. I am also changing the exhaust to a Magnaflow 15684. I will also get it tuned to a very high factory setting and then get Dyno'd again. The baseline was 317hp and 324T. My tuner thinks I will pick up 15 to 25 HP because I was running very Rich through the I entire range. I will post the new Dyno next week.

I got all the work done yesterday and after about 5 hours here are the results.
When I put on the Magnaflow I found the SLP loudmouth that was installed had all the guts taken out. Basically there was nothing in the shell. You could look straight through and see just smooth walls until exit. I was essentially running straight pipes and no muffler. I also got a y-adapter that allowed me to use the IAT that was built into the new GM Factory MAF. I replaced the Granatelli MAF and and now use the factory MAF with screen and IAT.

I road around with my tuner while his laptop was collecting data for the MAF, we did this 3 times until we went from a 10-12% error on the MAF to as close to 0% as we could get.
I was running real rich around 11.5 for the entire range. We got it to right at 13-13.1.
During this time we had bypassed the VE tables, turned off PE and also disabled the Cat. protection. When we got the MAF where we wanted, time for the dyno.

Turned back on PE and did 6 runs with cool down between. During this time we adjusted timing and watched for knock block to kick in. Once we found where that was we richened the fuel/air and set the timing back a little. When knock block kicked in, it retards the timing 8% and then starts adding it back to protect the engine. What you really want to do is set the timing so you never get to knock block but close. The engine that way is never recovering but has a good continuous pull. So now to the numbers. This is basically a stock LS1 except an SLP lit and Maganaflow cat back(actually Y-back).

Baseline, SLP lid, Grannalli MAF, and basically a SLP straight pipes.
    317.10 HP 320.97 Torque

Tune, SLP lid, factory MAF with IAT, Maganflow cat back.
    338.54 HP 350.78 Torque

21.44 HP gain and almost 30 ft/lbs Torque gain.

My tuner says my MPGs should improve along with the performance. I can say that you can feel 30lbs of torque at the seat of your pants. It does run a lot better. Well worth the money. I can post the dyno chart if anyone would like to see.

Pretty decent numbers. Wouldn't surprise me if the MAF change alone helped you out alot. Aftermarket ones are notoriously bad in lightly modified applications.
