    2000 Trans Am

    new numbers, 12 bolt robbed me

    well back in Feb i dynoed 340 hp and 348 tq

    since then i added a ls6 intake ported the TB and a 12 moser bolt w/ 4.10s

    and i got dynoed yesterday and did 343hp and 349 tq

    i cant wait to get cam done in a month or so


    all in all im happy w/ it i cant believe im putting down the track #s tho w/ this hp and tq. it was on a Dynojet

    to be expected. when i went from 3.23 to 4.10 i lost 13 rwhp and 24 rwtq. 60 ft went from 1.88 to 1.709.

    when i went to uti we swaped a rear end out of our car. went from a 3.08 to a 4.11 and it put the exact same numbers down. that new rear ends must just have a little bit more rolling resistance. i only know because we were testing this theory in class. just my 2 cents though.

    Bigger Gears = More Rotating Mass
    Just like a twin disc clutch will hurt your numbers over a single disc setup.
    Steel drive shaft vesus Composite.
    Not bad considering you have a lot more durability out of a 12 bolt than a 10 bolt.
