My before/after dyno numbers of Pacesetter headers.
Car has an SLP lid, Magnaflow cat-back k&n filter, and Pacesetter LTs with ORY, no tune, no free mods.
Before headers it did 292hp/310tq.
After it did 310hp/342tq.
Not bad for a 2.73 auto car imo.

all you had one the first run was the SLP lid, Magnaflow cat-back, k&n filter?
Second run added headers and ORY?
I wonder how much difference a tune would make...

Yeah, and its not even really a magnaflow catback, its the stock i-pipe with the magnaflow muffler. Im to broke to swap in a new catback right now because its all welded together so I'll just wait till I can afford a corsa.
The guy before me did that w/ the muffler, irritates the hell out of me, I dont understand why people do that ( put in just a muffler and not a cat-back).

Arctic White- 1998 Formula
this is probably a stupid question but is there a downfall to not using cats.
i wanna put exhaust on the car (98 formula m6) but not sure best route.
i.e.---LT's/shorties, cats/no cats.

its one hell of a fine in pa for running no cats if u get caught, oohhh i know thats why i still have mine on. having a father as a master tech that knows the law is not in my favor when it comes to me wanting to lose my fcking cats. *sorry that was a rant*
id lose the cats, i love the sound and it adds more *ok not a whole hell of a lot but more* hp.
nice improvements with the headers, im dying to get a pair on my car.

My car must be a factory freak, I just dynoed it (ill scan the graph) and I dynoed at 338 HP and 360+ TQ with 20 inch rims, stock with only a electric cutout right before the Y pipe

With the pacesetter headers, I should go with the Armour coated and not the painted?

Is it correc that these pacesetter LT's are not smog illegal in CA? im looking to invest into a pair of headers and wondering if these will be out of the question.
