With that cam, stall and good traction (it would probably take drag radials), the car should be good for a high 11 - low 12 second 1/4 mile.
The dyno numbers are very good and I bet that the car pulls like a freight trane up top!

Did you lock the converter up for the dyno run?

Not true. I've had various flowmaster kits, different pipe diameters, various style mufflers,,,and compared them with magnaflow, spintech, loudmouth one and two, mufflex, dynomax, Edelbrock, and a couple other mufflers I can't recall,,,but I have a spread sheet with them all listed and the things we found.
To make a long story short,,,as long as the pipe design and diameter stayed the same,,,,the car didn't care what muffler was hanging on it. There was no noticable difference in the cars performance AT ALL!
The only time we saw a change was the removal of the 3 inch piping and installing a 4 inch mufflex system,,,in which case the car picked up another tenth and 2 mph. Even that system didn't care whether it had a flowmaster or a spintech on it,,,,car performed the same.
I have had various designs of the flowmaster as well, and currently run the super 40's,,,,found nothing in that respect either.
In the end we found that 99% of your exhaust gains will come from the pipe diameter, design, mandrel bends, X or H pipe etc.....
Probably spent more than $3,000 on this little experiment to find that it's really just the sound that you prefer when choosing a muffler...

Still curious if you locked that converter on the dyno???? I'd like to experiment with that and see what differences there would be,,,maybe determine converter efficiency.

More rearend gear would fix that. Generally with a camshaft that big it's not unusual though.
If gears aren't an option, then maybe playing with the converter lockup may help. Delay the converter lockup in 4th gear until a speed is reached where bucking isn't an issue???? Just a thought.

Thats cool. Which fuddle??? Did you go with the mild street version from fuddle or the HP/street version with the larger clutch???
I just bought a 3400 fuddle, waiting for it to come in. I went with the HP version, for some reason that larger clutch just gives me piece of mind.

Nice numbers, My friend has about the same stuff with that same cam and got 407 down. His surges a little too. I guess thats usual if the tune is just roughed out. Just because it's a big cam doesn't mean it has to surge. It's a voltage deal on the injectors. What happens is that the car tries to bog and the computer throws in a bunch of air to make up for all of the fuel, then the car comes alive and pulls hard and it stays in that loop. That can go away with a good tune. The tuner needs to know how to fix it and a lot of them don't. It has something to do with the voltage that gets to the injectors. The lower the voltage they see, the more fuel they dump in. Doesn't make sense does it?
