It's tuned!
I got my trans am tuned yesterday. I am so glad I did. It runs so much better.. like night and day difference now!
put down 404 hp and 390 tq. With the cutout I got 414 hp and 402 tq.
What do you guys think? I'm just about ready for a 12 bolt and a few smaller things and I'm done with her. What are the stock injectors good to as far as hp ratings? Also the stock fuel pump-if you upgrade the fuel pump do you need to upgrade the fuel rails or no? If I have 404 to the wheels, then how much @ the crank? Is there a formula to figure it out. Sorry for all the questions... thanks!Last edited by chieftransam; 11-13-2007 at 11:02 AM.

pretty good numbers right there.
stock injectors should be good for around 450+ rwhp. you have the 28#.
do not need to upgrade the fuel rails.
m6 is about 12% loss. so 404 / .88 (12%) = 459Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

Awesome and thanks. Any need to upgrade the fuel pump? I had never ran the electric cutout at wot, but when he did I thought my head was going to explode! lol
With it open I got 415 hp. I love the way it sounds too...
He said 3 things hurt me on the dyno: humidity (weather), I had drag radials on, and stock catback!

i don't see a need to upgrade the fuel pump. i've been 482 rwhp with a stock fuel system.
changing to an aftermarket exhaust system might get you to 430ish. go with a tru-dual system like the bassani. it's what i have on both of my cars.

Thanks...
I've been looking into a true dual setup but not sure yet. What is the most common true dual setup that everyone runs?

Get a custom setup, don't have to worry about scraping.
For Example:
I think the majority uses TSP True Duals, but Bassani is pretty popular as well.
