Black- 1998 Firebird Formula
First dyno #'s '98 Formula, seem a little low (leaning out????)
Hey all, I just got a dyno run in at F1Dyno here in Portland, ME before they closed up for the night just to get a baseline for HP/TQ numbers before I start modding some more. The car is a '98 forumla with 140,875 miles on the clock. Mods are as follows:
(!CAGS) Suncoast Hood, Pacesetter LT, 228/228 .588 112LSA, SPEC IV, upgraded master and slave, DR timing chain, LS6 ported oil pump, Duals with Moroso Spiral mufflers, BMR SFC,SLP level 1 suspension, ZO6 rims 18x9.5
The car runs like a top and I have had no issues. I had the shop owner run the car from 1500 - 6500 RPM's and it never skipped a beat, but the numbers seem low to me:
Max HP - 347.8 @ 5950
Max TQ - 338.3 @ 3950
I really don't like the way the A/F is dipping down from 5500 on, It's not really scary lean, but I am sure I am losing a few horses. My basic question is, can I correct this fairly easily with something like EFILive? I had planned on buying a handheld, but for the little extra price (and my car being a '98 so only hypertech...) I would rather go with a full blown tuning / data logging package. Any ideas?

Nobody????
No one has any idea as to what may be going on? Also, why did my thread get moved in here? The dyno sheet was strictly to show the A/F leaning out up top????
