    Dyno Fire - My Camaro!!!

OMG! have hand controls on my 02 Camaro for gas & brake being that I am in a wheelchair. Hand control is one unit that controls two levers to brake & gas pedals. Pull to hard on the gas and the brake pedal gets depressed. The technician told me he would use the pedals which remain on the floor. He didn't. Watch the end closely on part I. You will see smoke from the rear pads catching fire! Part II gets even better. It did put over 280hp with brakes depressed! They said they will test it again and that I would drive it on Dyno, but I hate NOT knowing HP numbers, I'm worried about the tune also. That's my car! Good thing I had fire extinguisher

Wow. I love the part when the lady says "your cars on fire". I bet that was scary. Nice B4C though.

She thinks she owns me! Every mechanic, friend, technician, tuner who has attempted to help repair or mod her has caused damage. I swear this is Christine! FRom Steven King's novel. If I work on her, I may fine tune her, than it is fine. Oh, wait the dealership did her right. I think she thought that was a spa? LOL!

Anyone else had this happen...I take it there are not many with hand controls

Damn i woulda been freaking out haha. I did get to drive a car at work the other day with hand controls though. Its pretty neat how it all works, i was messing around a little with it. It was confusing at first for me.

I want a car with X-box 360 controls! J/K, that sucks man. Strong running car though to make almost 300 to the wheels with the brakes on! lol

Ok I had to have car dyno tune done by a pro - I will post new tune and dyno videos. I had Williams Performance do dyno tune. I now KNOW why everyone says DYNO TUNE! Not mail order tune, not Hypertech or handheld. OMG, amazing!

I am coming out of the freakin' closet - I love Nick Williams and crew!

Did they give you your money back? Or offer to buy you some new brake pads?

They did offer dyno cost back. Me being the nice guy took 1/2 back, not realizing the extent of damage and thinking I needed rear brakes soon. I really didn't, never ASSume! Pads and rotors were good for at least another 20k and calipers were fine till the seals burned. I tried to contact them and nothing. Would not even return MY extinguisher!

I think I posted dyno results after Nick Williams tune, but here they are again; 315rwhp & 332rwtq. Kewl. Got rid of Slowmaster , feels like a gained a little more SOP. I am happy now. Learned the hard way, doh!
