difference between mustang and dynojet
mrr23, How do you deal with different dynos? I recently went to a different shop that used a Mustang dyno, my origanal #'s (723 hp 654 tq) came from a Dyno Jet. I picked up 2.5 psi but the Mustang dyno run came up at (652 hp 545 tq). Nothing was changed, only the belt was tightened, so I know I didn't loose any power. I've heard there is a 15% decrease when useing a Mustang dyno, when compared to a Dyno Jet. but not sure if thats right or not. Thank you

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
I have seen them read the exact same numbers on the same day.
Then I have seen variances of up to 12-13%....in which the DynoJet was the higher.
