2010 Camaro A6 L99 Dyno Numbers
Well i was just watching some vids on youtube and ended up watching this one and i was a bit suprised at the low numbers 310 rwhp especially from a car that weighs in at 3800+ lbs not too impressive but man does it look nice. In the end they got 322 rwhp and about 349 rwtq. I think if your gonna get the new camaro gotta have the manual in another vid saw stock dyno numbers of 347-372 rwhp on the manual tranny compared to 310 rwhp of the auto.
The vid of the L99 A6

ok so this A6 that is supposed to making 425 stock hp only got 310rwhp? What exactly is the formula for this calculation, apparently I was way off from what I thought it would dyno. If that's the case then my car is making close to that since she dyno'd 326whp/341rwtq. Somehow this doesn't seem right to me. well if/when I go out and finally buy one of 5th Gens, it will definitely be a M6.

A6 cars come with the 400 HP, even so it should be about 330 RWHP atleast but a 15% loss is really 340, now this is a Auto tranny so drivetrain loss is greater and 15% is probably not a fair estimate. The Manual ive seen pull much higher numbers but then again a car that weighs in at 3800+LBS and pulls between 347-372 RWHP, i think a bolt on LS1 that can pull about 340+ RWHP should have no issue keeping up with or beating one. Ofcourse once its modded and there will be many with mods soon then its a different story as always, so you'll never know. I still really like the way it looks for the most part just cant get over the fact that it looks very bulky and after seeing several in person my opinion has not changed at all just comfirms how big the car is and looking at it just says cruiser but fast on the straights. Im sure lots of people have there own opinions on the new camaro but im more then happy with my LS1 and seriously considered trading it in for a new camaro once it came out. I will be the very few that would rather hold on to my LS1 then getting the new camaro.
