Video - 3/25/2012 HPDE MSR Cresson TX 3.1mi Track

Video from The Drivers Edge HPDE March 24 & 25 2012. This was my 1st time running the 3.1mi configuration, but I've run the 1.7mi twice in this direction, and twice the opposite direction. Cool thing was I was cleared for solo by the end of Saturday so ran that way all day Sunday. This is still a daily driver so I'm fairly conservative with it, but it's getting fun and quite predictable. Feeling less of a desire to tweak it. First time on the track with an oil temp gauge and fears were confirmed... it gets HOT (280+ in about 3 laps). A cooler is next on the list.

Met a lot of people this weekend too... it was just all around a fun weekend.

Wow! Can't believe I missed this... just totally blew over the email notification. Sorry.

Haven't done it since the time shown in the video, but I'm lined up to attend again in October. VERY much looking forward to it!

As far as the audio... yeah. The Drift HD170 is waterproof right out of the box, unlike the GoPro. Unfortunately that means the audio sucks due to the mic being covered by a rubber membrane. Perhaps the newer versions of the Drift improve on it(??) Mine allows the connection of an external mike which I've been considering in order to get some killer audio!
