Yes you can. We will be using the events.us site for event registration after this event. I'll be driving an ESP prepped Camaro but I'll most likely be running CP because of some friends that run in that class.
I'll be posting regular announcements before the upcoming events. The ones not to miss are the ones at Northfield Park (big lot with elevation changes).

i was just talking with a buddy about going, but this would be my first time. any tips/suggestions i should do for preparation for me and/or the camaro? do i need anything besides a helmet? i might just go this weekend to observe and get the gist of what happens before i make a fool of myself. i never drive the camaro hard, so i dont know how far i can even push her.

Itll be my first time too. Im planning on picking up some koni SA's for the front and kyb's for the back. Im gonna try and get a sway bar kit as soon as i can too but im not sure. Im definitely picking up some good brake pads before i go though. If you really wanna go you should PM me and we should try to go at the same time since itll be both our first times

If you guys are coming PM me and I'll send you my cell number. It you come saturday after lunch they will have a practice autocross for us participating in the school. That would be a good time to come. I can give you guys a ride so you can get an idea. All you really need is a helmet (motorcycle will work). As far as car prep. Do not do anything without doing an event first. There is a guy here that is running an Fstock convertible Camaro that usually schools us in prepared categories and all he has is sticky tires. So I would say drive first and mod later.
Ryan, As far as shocks you are better served with Koni's SA in front and Revalved Bilsteins or even 3rd gen konis in the back (over the kby). As far as swaybars all you need is a bigger front. Sam Strano's front 35" hollow swaybar will work well. Alternativelly you can get a Suspension Techniques 34.5mm Solid for cheap at Summit. It is a bit heavier but I had good results with it on my previous car.
BTW I fixed the link to the starter guide so I would recommend you guys look through it. Here is also another really good guide that will get you started.Last edited by Killer_bluebird; 04-07-2008 at 07:38 AM.

The school was great but a little wet and cold. But that is actually better for learning the limits of the car at lower speeds and worst conditions. They had a Skidpad section, a Launch and Brake section and a slalom. We played in those for 2 hrs then we had a 1hr classroom and Q&A session. At 12:00pm lunch and at 1:00pm test and tune autocross. we did like 8-9 runs. Done at 4:30 or so.
Today's even was canceled so you didn't miss anything. (Plus it would have sucked to work the course in today's weather.
Here are some pictures from the school.
And a nice one of me on the wifemobile!

They had problems with the PA system and could not get it working. They checked the PA System, They checked the Speakers and They checked the cables. Guess which was the offending party?
Note to self:
Never offend NORA management
