    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

    are fiero's cool?

When I was 15 and started looking for cars, a fiero was one of my top 10 choices. That was 10 years ago, I'm wondering, with the way things have changed, is there stuff you can do to a fiero to make it slaughter new cars in a road course? What about style stuff, i mean..their interior is about as sexy as a 3rd gen...can it be swapped with f-body/vette/eclipse...anything better?

ive never liked them, but i have seen some that are pretty cool.
You can swap a small block v8 into it and they run like a bat out of hell.
Theres also a million kits you can buy for them if you want to go crazy... make yourself a ferrariero haha

They were ahead of their time that's for sure.......I've got one now that has a LT1 383 in it......I've built two now with that motor......I hate it though when people put those "Ferrari" kits or "Lambo" kits on them.......that's when they look gay

A few years ago 2 of my friends and I had 4 fieros that we played around with. They were a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind buying another one if I came across a decent deal.

a freind of mine has a 88? (maybe, not sure) with a 355 small block, it ran 12.9** in the 1/4, he just chopped the to a couple of inches and raked the windsheild back (stock windshield tilted back to fit the chop) and it looks BAD ASS, he doesn't have it all back together yet but just sitting in peices in his shop its looking good

my gramps told me that GM's original plan for those was to actually be faster than the vette. The only thing that stopped them from pursuing a stock v8 placement was the fact they kept blowing up when rear-ended. Imagine what could have been.

I agree, the kits for fiero to ferrari/lambo are totally lame and one needs not to waste time and money by ruining a vehicle. It's like wearing a fake rolex.. You impress people at first, but then let them down by stating "its not a ______, its a replica."

I saw one in clearwater beach once, and there was alot of people gathered around it.. I could tell it was fake from 50 ft; they just have a look to them. I don't know what it is.. Its probably because the materials aren't the same as the real ones.

I would like to have a fiero and wedge a big block in it, twin turbo or S/c it, and slap some nos bottles on it. That thing would be a demon straight from the depths of haites. You'd probably have to extend the body a bit to fit the big block. Along with that stretch, I would chop the roof like your friend did. Next, maybe a real wide body kit, extend the axles, would be proper for adequate traction. You could get really crazy and try to fit an AWD drive train under it. About $50,000 later you could have the fastest fiero this side of the Mississippi.

I would guess the 0-60 time would be under 4 seconds, with a top speed of around 200 mph? Hell probably more if you could keep it stuck to the ground, and installed the right gears.

Wow what a car, that COULD have been.

I've seen in magazines were people have put stock LS6s in fieros and they'll run 11s, thats damn fast with 400hp
