    factory power steering cooler

So, What do you guy's think about it? The one that is located in the upper radiator hose? My buddy had an LT1 and I don't think they had them. But I was wondering if you guys think I should put in an aftermarket "heat exchanger" type in front of the radiator or just flush the factory one real good?

I dont have one... Stock either It came with the ws6 "f41 rpo" package. Its just extra weight to me.

I think that would do a MUCH BETTER JOB if you routed it like that.

    Pics if you do it.

Yea, I did too(think it would be better) I saw it done like that before, probably at one of those install write up websites.

Essentially it is doing the exact same thing as the radiator is doing for the tranmission fluid, so an aftermarket cooler is always a good idea. Plus it would help with coolant getting into the PS fluid and vice versa.

Fabbing lines up and getting the air outta the system would be the hard part.
