the direction of the motor when it moves is from driver's side to passenger side. meaning the motor is lifting up on the driver's side of the car from the rotation of the crankshaft.

    Not that I know of.

Ever see an older semi take off from a light with a heavy load?? Lots of times the drivers side front wheel pulls off the ground

The differencial has alot to do with it to. The passenger side is the side that recieves power first untill the limited slip kicks in. engine torque does it as well though. Plus the way the panhard bar is attached, when you launch the car not only squats down but the rear squats to the right (passenger) as well there for making the driver side want to lift more.

It's a combination of things but all these do have an affect.

Most cars will lift more on the driver side like your asking because of the diff. and engine.

Anyone pushing 600+HP who doesn't have SFC's and a full list of other chassis and suspension upgrades is probably an idiot. If he twisted the chassis badly enough that he couldn't get the T-tops back on, he's probably screwed.

The driver's side tire will always be the tire trying to lift the most - unless you have an engine that runs backwards. Around here, who knows.

Minor suspension work can fix the twist.

FYI, first image is slicks, second is DRs.

and when your talking minor suspension work would that be add a stiffer spring in the right rear, like on the eibach drag launch kit??

when is the drag launch kit really help out these car for racing. would it help out on a 12 sec car or is it more suited for the 10-11;s

Sorry for any confusion. I was trying to show the difference between a hard launch and virtually no suspension vs a hard launch with some modest, but very useful suspensino mods.

To cure the twist, you need to stiffen the passenger side more than the driver's side. That can be done with an anti-roll bar, or it can be done with air bags, which is what I went with. I ran 20-25 psi on the passenger side spring, ~5 psi on the other. Combined with cheap, non-adjustable control arms, and a set of adjustable shocks (once again, stiffer on the passenger side) the result was what you see in the second pic - a much cleaner, straighter launch without breaking the bank. Very easy to adjust, too.
