Whats possible for me to run with 373rwp,371rwtq?

Hey guys, last time i ran with 356 rwhp and i could only get a 13.14 @110mph.

What do you think I should run now? All that is done is Mac mids, ORY, Corsa Cat-back with open dump after the y, 80mm BBK TB, SFCs, STB, SLP lid w/ k&n, short stick for the m6 with stock gears and chassis dyno tuneed to 373rwhp, 371rwtq.

Also on the stock crappy 275 goodyear eagles

those are pretty good #s for your mods. Make sure you deflate your tires and get those 60' down. if you ran 13.1 before i would guess 12.8-12.9 now. Good luck!

I have had both and the m/t drag radials hook way better but the nittos last a lot longer so its really just a matter of what you want.

Oh yea you might want to invest in a 12-bolt or 9" rear end.

grab a panhard bar for about 100$ that will help with traction

put a set of drag radials on and you might run 12.30-12.40

Don't let anyone tell you that deflating radials is going to help you. Radials have hard sidewalls and are not designed to run with lower pressures like bias-belted
slicks that have soft sidewalls and will wrinkle. Deflating radial tires causes them to cup in the center and in fact reduces the amount of tire reaching the ground and also reduces the amount of traction.

I agree with in principal, however, running drag radials at 30 psi will result in less traction than at 22-24 psi. IMHO running below 20 psi will result in less traction and so on. There is definately a point where you are at the optimum level of traction and it is not at the 30 psi level.

I thought we were talking about "Goodyear Eagles" that the ORIGINAL poster is running. BUT if you're NOW talking about DRAG RADIALS I would offer this info from BFG:

"It is also important to remember that the Drag Radial operates most efficiently on the strip at COLD inflation pressures of between 15psi and 20psi (in no case should below 12psi be used). And after the racing is done for the day, it is essential that Drag Radials be reinflated to normal highway operating pressures in order to safely bring the driver and trophy back home. Running any tire at relatively low inflation pressure for a given load reduces the tire's speed capability by causing it to stretch more and operate at a high deflection (more radial bulge). The Drag Radial is built to withstand brief "bursts" of high speed while inflated at low pressure (such as would be experienced on a quick car in the quarter-mile), but no tire can be expected to survive for a long time at high speed while operating at high deflection."

You DON'T want to ever run regular radials at 15-20psi!!!

You got a dyno sheet to prove those numbers. Im having a real hard time believing 370+ HP with mids, ORY and lid.

I needed a cam to hit those numbers.

Good traction should net you low 12's.

I'm trapping higher than that with just LT's and an ORY and Cutout, on 93 oct. not near that on the 60's tho....

I have to agree. My dyne tune was netted 300 RWHP, with my converter unlocked, and I've managed a 12.56 @ 108 on BFG DR's myself.
