whats the best combo to run 12's on a 99 z28
ran 13.5 this weekend, has a SLP airbox ,2.73 gears ,flow master muffler , automatic transmission ,would like to run in the 12's without nitrous what the best combo

3.73s i picked up .4 going from 2.73 to 3.73

I didn't realize this was on a vert, which makes a difference. You wouldn't run mid 12s with headers and a stall, but would still be in the 12s.

Red- 2000 Trans Am
I have headers, catback and a lid, i run high 12s, with a stall rear end gears and a cam you could be low 12s high 11s.

dumb question, but what is the differance between say a 3200 stall lockup vs a 3200 stall non lockup?

13.5 with what mph and with what 60ft?
Those are the two most important things to list, one to tell how good the traction is and to tell how much power the car is making.

101 mph ,2.03 60 ft , good air and track was hooking,that same day a local stock looking c5 vert ran a 9.47,it was the same black vett that was on PINKS ALL OUT IN DALLAS ,BAD AZZ CAR

I think Long tubes are as good a mod as you can do, get rid of the flowmaster its probably hurting you. I went 12.67 with hptuner, 2.73, Lt's, xpipe, and lid on street tires w/1.89 60'. I would say lt's a pulley and a little weight and you should be right at 12's door.
