what size tire should i run?
im going to get a set of rims for the track 15X4 and 15X10
what offset or back spacing do i need and what size tires should i run on this set up. my mods are lt,ory, lid, ported tb, G5X3 114 cam,3200 stall, umi k-member, umi 3 point sf,umi adj. panhard bar, koni sa,strano 1 1/4 lowering spring. i know its set up for the curves but i can adj. the shocks to be a little better for the strip, I know its not the best set up for the 60ft but it is what it is.

I would run a 275/60/15 drag radial.
Here is the order in hooking best. Remember the better it hooks though the softer which means less life.
M&H
Hoosier
Mickey Thompson
Goodyear
BFG
Nitto
The reason I would run a 60 and not a 50 is if you look at the pic in this thread the rear tire looks shorter than the front...... Also less sidewall will mean less to absorb that intial shock.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Don't waste your time with a small air dia grinder.
Get out the elec grinder with a a couple nice aggressive wheels and go to town.
I usually take some cardboard and duck tape to build up a little clearance and tape that to the back of the wheel for your multiple test fits.
Very easy to polish out your caliper where you have been grinding on it with the 3M abrasive (fine) pads on a dia grinder to complete your task.
