Yes. I agree with above. Start at 18 and you may even find going a little lower might hook you up better. Good luck and let us know how they fair out for you.

I ran mine at 18 and they worked fine til I did the stall. After that it didn't matter what psi I went with...

That's why I now use MT ET Street DR's....
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

    Carbon footprint? CLOWN SHOE!

Did you have dr's with gears before the stallor stock gears? I ask because I tried something similar with some v710's at the track and my car would not have any of it.

Exhaust was the 1st mod. 3.73 gears were next (I now have 3.23's as I burned/broke 3 sets of 3.73's). Then came the stall. Then came the Mickey's to handle the stall...

How did the 3.73's and nitto dr's do at the track before the stall? Although burning through 3 sets of gears isn't something I like the idea of.

The time in my sig was with 3.73 gears. Best pass prior to the stall was 13.09 @ 108+ with a 1.9x 60'.

The 1st set was Motive. They whined like a whore that didn't get paid.

The 2nd set was Richmond. They started to whine after about 25 passes.

Next set was AAG (basically factory). They were quiet till I started to race again. After about 50 passes the pinion bearing bearing sorta welded itself to the pinion. This was the set I did the 12.559 with.

The current set is a factory set of used 3.23's that my buddy installed. I've yet to take them to the track (It's too hot to race these days here in PHX). I had them installed for the cruise to the LA Invasion. No noise over the last 1,000 miles or so.

Now all I can think about now is how to make my rear last with 3.73's
Sort of hoping that 12.5 was before the stall

Don't forget the average DA here in PHX is 3500'. Take about .3 seconds off for sea level...

Seems like installing gears always ends up with a whine.

Gotta find me a used 10-bolt.

If your still looking next spring, I may have one with less than 25K to part with...depends on how my mod budget looks over winter...and how bored I get when there is 6' of snow blocking the WS6 into the garage.
