    Want 11s

I want to get my camaro into the 11s next year.Currently my best time was a 12.67 at 109 mph with 1.923 60' times. This was on street tires with an a4 trans.Upgrades as of now are lt headers,no cats,y-pipe,slp loudmouth exhaust, slp lid and programmer.I'm thinking a ms4 cam from texas speed, sending out the pcm for tune and a set of Mt et's will do it.Will that be enough?

If you're going with a cam that big you'll definitely want a bigger stall...somewhere in the 4000 range.

The MS3 cam is for sure more of a track oriented cam and has 11's in it. A stall in the upper 3000's is a must. PRC heads are a good affordable head, matched with your MS series cam and a stall with a sticky tire, it would be hard to not hit 11's. If its anything but a track car, you could go with a different (smaller) camshaft and still hit 11's with an auto and a decent head, while keeping it more streetable.

I definitely want to keep it streetable, not my daily driver but I drive it alot during the warmer weather. How streetable will it be with a ms3 or ms4 cam and a 3000 to 4000 stall. What are you guys running for cams?

Thanks for the information.I know if I go with the ms4 cam,I was going to have to get a stall convertor.I want to do the heads at the same time with the cam,but might have to hold off a little bit to get some coin for the heads. Is it worth trying to run that size a cam with stock heads?Or should I wait and do it all in one shot?

Research what this cam is, its driviabilty, where the power is/isnt before you jump into the MS4. A different stall will be required with almost any cam swap. I would personally do it all at once, but it will work with stock heads for sure.

MS3 with a mid to high 3,000 rpms stall is still streetable.

I was kickin around the idea of a ls6 or gmpp ls1 hot cam,but from what I've heard it isn't worth it as far as hp gains. What's the difference between the ms3 and ms4.I know the ms4's lift is .600" something and duration is in the high 200s,correct?What about the ms3?
